Netflix’s new travel series explores dark tourism

collected by :Frank Ithan

The latest travel documentary to drop on Netflix explores dark tourism, which sees visitors flock to places traditionally associated with death, destruction and tragedy. Now he's set his sights on a travel series with a unique focus. Each episode sees Farrier hop between a few locations that have each been associated at some time or other with the 'dark tourism' trend. The docu-series takes a look at the dark tourism sector and some of the ethical questions around it. Photo by NetflixThese ethical questions, however, are faced by anybody engaging dark tourism.

One of Kickstarter's best bag companies is back with a killer new travel pack

Image Source: Peak DesignThe Travel Backpack is carry-on approved, and you can adjust its size to pack even more clothes and gear for longer trips. If I were to compare it to similar successful products launched on Kickstarter, they would have to be Nomatic's Travel Bag and Travel Backpacks. But the Peak Design Travel Backpack seems to pack the best of the aforementioned products from the competition, and it's a bag I'm tempted to buy. It'll cost you $399 ($146 in savings) to get all the cubes (sans the photo gear) and the travel bag this December. No Man's Sky travel diary: a new perspective

referring to No Man's Sky travel diary: a new perspective The journey continues in No Man's Sky NextTwo years ago, when No Man's Sky first launched, I wrote a journal that chronicled my adventures in the game's sprawling, procedurally generated universe. Since then, the game has changed considerably, most recently with this week's No Man's Sky Next expansion, which is the biggest update yet. So it seemed like a great chance to dive back in and start the diary again. But the universe kept calling, so here I am, in a brightly lit space station marveling at my own exosuit, which is a calming orange trimmed with a clean baby blue. My spaceship, a sprightly craft that seats one and has a lot of punch, is just where I left it, though the pyramid-shaped space station is much more bustling than it used to be.
