WASHINGTON — Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke bristled Tuesday under questioning by Democrats about his travel spending as the Trump administration seeks deep cuts to conservation programs and fee increases at national parks. Zinke testified before a Senate committee about the agency's proposed $11.7 billion budget for 2019. Meanwhile, an Interior advisory committee has proposed cutting royalty fees paid by energy companies to drill for oil and natural gas in federal waters. It is not the first time Zinke has faced questions over his travel spending. The coasts of Oregon and Washington and most of California have "no known resources of any weight," Zinke said.

In an update today on the entry for Russia, it says: "Due to heightened political tensions between the UK and Russia, you should be aware of the possibility of anti-British sentiment or harassment at this time"You're advised to remain vigilant, avoid any protests or demonstrations and avoid commenting publically on political developments."It adds: "While the British Embassy in Moscow is not aware of any increased difficulties for British people travelling in Russia at this time, you should follow the security and political situation closely and keep up to date with this travel advice."Earlier today, Theresa May announced that 23 diplomats were to be expelled in the wake of the nerve agent attack in Salisbury.
